Adam Schefter’s blog had one last post regarding the Jay Cutler trade rumors and situation. The post essentially said, there’s no chance.

Josh McDaniels finally spoke publicly about the matter, after statements had been released earlier in the week from various team spokesmen.

“Let me be as clear as I can about this,” McDaniels said “We are not trading Jay Cutler — period.”

So, that’s it. No more rumors about Cleveland, Minnesota, San Francisco, the Jets, or any other team in need of a quarterback. They will need to look elsewhere.

This move should come as a relief to Broncos fans, and this whole incident may even be viewed positively six months from now.
