With the Jay Cutler situation, the Broncos need to bring in some depth at the Quarterback position. Jay likely won’t be traded anytime soon.
Chris Simms spent last year with the Titans. He is now a free-agent, looking for a good team to land with.
The Broncos apparently aren’t confident in Darrell Hackney as their back-up.

I don’t think bringing in Chris Simms has anything to do with Cutler, but it has a lot to do with the fact that Patrick Ramsey is O.U.T. out. Hackney has zero NFL experience, and Simms has been a starter. Good move by Denver.
